Abstract

A clinical report on surgical treatment of an elderly patient with a dysfunction of the bioprosthesis in the mitral position is presented. Considered in the report are methods of management and treatment of the patient at the stages of preparation for surgery, anesthetic management, re-intervention and early postoperative period. Using the proposed techniques for surgical and intensive care allowed to prevent the development of persistent organ failure and to provide a satisfactory and stable outcome of re-intervention during long-term follow-up.
